The client did not want a separate inventory for online channel. They wanted to list entire top-selling product range. The SLA had to be less than 3 working days.
The Thoucentric team was faced with a few challenges in this implementation:
- Stock-outs, no purchase plan/Budget for online store.
- Limited budget to consume risk of failure.
- No budget to hire an additional resource for fulfilment
However, with the solution that was implemented by the team, the client was able to introduce a wide range of products, improve SLA, they were able to cross-sell and up-sell a unified interface to service customers, inventory, price, and promotion.
By listing out the inventory of 20 offline stores along with a warehouse, we were able to use the existing distribution range.

2. Implemented Click & Collect, Click & Deliver, Return at Store: Provided a single view of customer and inventory.
3. Built an algorithm to split & fulfil an order.
