Delivering value through SAP S/4 HANA Central Finance (CFIN)

SAP S/4 HANA Central Finance (CFIN) implementation for a multinational FMCG client

Checking the pulse of the industry, one of the major elements of the SAP S/4HANA story that has been stimulating interest across is Central Finance. Central Finance uses SAP S/4HANA’s real-time abilities to replicate financial documents into the central platform as they are posted that gives a real time organization-wide finance view. In our case, the current customer landscape had many instances of SAP and Non-SAP solutions. They needed a single layer for Reporting & Consolidation across the Core ERPs reducing the need for multiple reporting systems. The implementation was done aligning with the strategic initiative of moving towards an intelligent finance organisation, helping in faster decision making with enhanced user experience & visualization.

Challenges identified in the AS-IS systems of the client

Recognized Benefits (short term & long term)

Aim of the project was to drive divisional & local overheads cost visibility and create optimality to maximize business impact and support change program for the client. Final deliverable was a power BI enabled dashboard, which gave a holistic view of all the overheads costs across geographies.

Following are the key features of this implementation:
